Yes, you can request a limit increase through internet banking, mobile app, or by contacting customer care. Approval depends on your credit history and income. If you want, I can also create a more engaging, SEO-friendly FAQ section for your credit card website that boosts trust and conversions. Would you like me to prepare that next?
A late payment fee and interest will be charged. Missing payments can also impact your credit score.
Rs. 1 when it is redeemed for a flight or hotel booking, and Rs. 0.50 when it is redeemed against an instant voucher. That gap matters: the card's headline 3 Air Miles per Rs. 100 on travel is 3% back only if you take the value as travel. Redeem for vouchers and the same spending returns 1.5%.
No. Kotak publishes a Rs. 999 plus GST joining fee and the same again annually, with no spend-based waiver condition. What it does publish instead is a renewal benefit of 1,000 Air Miles, worth Rs. 1,000 of travel, which covers most of the Rs. 1,179 charge every year rather than only in the first.
Four complimentary domestic airport lounge visits a year. There is no international lounge access on this card — for that Kotak sells the Air+, which adds two international visits and raises the domestic allowance to four with a limit of two a quarter, for a Rs. 3,000 fee.
Insurance, education, government payments, rent, fuel, wallet loading, EMI conversions, online gaming and cash advances. That is a long list and it includes two categories people often expect to earn — rent and fuel — so the realistic earn rate on a household's total spending is lower than the headline 1 mile per Rs. 100.
Yes, three years from the date they are earned. On a card earning 1 mile per Rs. 100 that is rarely a problem for an active user, but a card left in a drawer will lose its welcome and renewal miles before they are spent.
Kotak does not publish either for this card, which is why we have left both fields empty rather than filling them with another card's numbers. The bank's other consumer cards generally run from age 21 to 65; approval is at Kotak's discretion and the branch will confirm the criteria applied to your application.
