Key strength
1000% on Everything else — Paid at monthly milestones, not per transaction: 200 points above Rs. 5,000, 500 above Rs. 10,000, 1,000 above Rs. 15,000 and up to 4,000 above Rs. 60,000., up to ₹1,000 per month.
Biggest limitation

A late payment fee and interest will be charged. Missing payments can also impact your credit score.
Yes. IDFC FIRST Bank states that no interest rate applies on the FIRST SWYP Credit Card. A converted transaction or statement balance instead carries a flat monthly EMI conversion fee plus GST, with no other processing charge. That makes the cost of carrying a balance a known number rather than something that accrues daily.
It starts at Rs. 49 plus GST and is dynamic — set by the transaction amount and the tenure you pick. Because of that there is no single published figure, which is the one thing to check before converting: on a short tenure a flat fee can work out dearer than interest would have.
Any transaction above Rs. 2,500, over a tenure from 3 to 36 months, and statement balances as well. There is no separate processing charge beyond the flat monthly conversion fee.
At monthly milestones rather than per transaction: 200 Reward Points above Rs. 5,000 of spending in a month, 500 above Rs. 10,000, 1,000 above Rs. 15,000, and up to 4,000 points — stated as worth Rs. 1,000 at Rs. 0.25 a point — above Rs. 60,000. If you spend under Rs. 5,000 in a month you earn nothing at all.
Rs. 499 plus GST as a joining fee, and the same again as an annual fee from the second card anniversary year — so the first year carries only the joining fee. IDFC FIRST Bank publishes no spend-based waiver for it.
It depends on the tenure. Over a long tenure a flat monthly fee is usually cheaper and always predictable, which is the card's point. Over three or six months the same fee can be a higher effective rate than interest on a falling balance — so work out the total fee against the amount before converting, rather than assuming flat means cheap.
Credit card fees, rewards and benefits change. Please verify the latest terms on the issuer's website before applying. CredSpy earns a commission on some applications; it never affects rankings or what is written here.
